Answeres to Keerti ma'am's questions.

COMBUSTION AND FOSSIL FUEL

Q1. What are the different types of fuels used  all over the world?'
Ans 1. The different types of fuels are:-
  • Solid fuels
  • Liquid fuels
  • Gaseous fuelse
  • Bio-fuels
  • Fossil fuels

Q2 What are the properties of fuels?
Ans 2. Properties of a fuel are:-

  • Fuels produce heat and light on burning
  • Produce energy
  • Good calorific value
  • Has good efficiency

Q3 What are the properties of ideal fuel?
Ans 3. properties of ideal fuel are:-
  •  It should possess high calorific value.
  •  It should have proper ignition temperature. The ignition temperature of the fuel should neither be too low nor too high.
  •  It should not produce poisonous products during combustion. In other words, it should not cause pollution o combustion.
  •  It should have moderate rate of combustion.
  •  Combustion should be easily controllable i.e., combustion of fuel should be easy to start or stop as and when required.
  •  It should not leave behind much ash on combustion.
  •  It should be easily available in plenty.
  •  It should have low moisture content.
  • It should be cheap.
  •  It should be easy to handle and transport.

Welcome grade 8D
We all have joined our hands this semester to make our environment pollution free by adding our bit and using the most efficient and suitable fuel available .
LETS spread awareness among masses and let them know the unaware information about fuels available to us and lets share some more interesting facts and figures among ourselves too about combustion of fuel used by us in our daily lives.
HAPPY BLOGGING
